solution ... as side od cube q is 8 its volume should be 8 cube=512...now p/q=27/64...multiplying p/q with 8 on numerator and denominator we get p/q=216/512....216 is 6 cube and 512 is 8 cube therefore x is 6

Volume of cube = a^3
Therefore,
Volume of cube [P] = x^3cm
Volume of cube [Q] = 8^3cm = 8 × 8 × 8 = 512cm
Ratio of [P] & [Q] = 27:64
Volume of [P]/Volume of [Q] = 27/64
x^3/512 = 27/64
x^3 = 27/64 × 512
x^3 = 27 × 8 [64 × 8=512]
x^3 = 216
x = 6 [ 6 × 6 × 6 = 216]
Hence,
The side of the cube [P] = 6cm
