first take the resistors DC and CE, the are in series connection, so
Rs = 3+3= 6ohm
next, take resistors of the above and the 3ohm resistors, they are in parallel connection, so we get
Rp = 1/6 + 1/3 = 2ohm
finally take Rp and the two 0.5 ohm resistors, we get,
Effective Resistence = 2 + 0.5 + 0.5 = 3ohm
the reading of ammeter in this case is 3ohms
