Answer:

56

Step-by-step explanation:

There is a total of 18816 tiles which were used to decorate rooms, kitchens and bathrooms of all apartments and each apartment has 2 rooms, 1 kitchen and 2 bathrooms and for each apartment 64 tiles are used for 1 kitchen, 84 tiles for 1 room and 52 tiles for 1 bathroom.

Since there are 2 rooms and bathrooms in each apartment so the total number of tiles for both rooms are (84×2) which is 168 and both bathrooms are (52×2) which is 104.

Therefore, the total number of tiles used for 1 appartment is (64+168+104) which is 336.

Therefore, The number of apartments in the building are (18816/336) which is 56

Therefore, There are 56 appartments in the building.

I hope it helps and you could understand.

Please double check my answer. I'm not that good in maths but gave it a try.

THANK YOU!
