______________________________

Construct the ΔABC  and  BD perpendicular to AC,

then draw a  circle with centre O such that BO= OC=4cm.

join the point O and A  and locate  M be the midpoint of  AO and draw a circle with centre M and radius = MO = AM.

let this circle cuts  the previous circle at   P and  Q

Now join AP and AQ  which are the desire tangents.

\bold{\large{\underline{\underline{\sf{StEp\:by\:stEp\:explanation:}}}}}

• Draw a line segment AB = 6 cm.

• Draw a right angle at B and then, BC = 8cm.

• Now,

Draw perpendicular BD to AC.

• We know in a right triangle , hypotenuse is the Diameter of circum circle.

• Considering BC as diameter ,draw a circle passing through points B, C and D.

• Join A to O and taking AO as diameter ,draw second circle.

• From point A draw tangents AB and AP.
