graphite is a form of carbon and in its structure 1 carbon atom is bound to 3 other carbon atom bt the valency of carbon is 4 so one carbon atom is still free to move so the freely carbon atom can conduct electricity

Grahipte contains freely moving electrons by when electric current is applied they generate electricity.

Bimetallic strip- it is sensitive to temperature as we increase temperature it start expanding. for example : brass as increasing temperature length increase.
