Urmila was carrying a basket full of fruit offer to the nearby temple. An old lady approached her and said that she had not eaten anything the whole day "Give me something to eat. I am very hungry," she cried. Urmila said that she was going to the temple to offer a sacrifice to the goddess there and went off.

Answer:

Urmila could have offered her fruits to the old woman but then she cannot offer her fruits to the goddess maybe going deeper into the psyche of Urmila of what she considers her goddess defines her offering to needy or to the temple

Explanation: The Path of Urmila is defined by her circumstances and she only does what she considers right BUT WHERE IS THE LINE BETWEEN THE FAITH AND DELUSION OF IDOL WORSHIP AND GOD IS ONE MAYBE SHE MUST CONSIDER THE GODDESS IN THE OLD WOMAN HERSELF
