Answer:

Gondwana, also called Gondwanaland, ancient supercontinent that incorporated present-day South America, Africa, Arabia, Madagascar, India, Australia, and Antarctica.

Peninsular plateau

Peninsular plateau was formed due to the breaking and drifting of the Gondwana land.

, The collision of the Eurasian plate and Indo-austrian plate led to the formation of Himalaya. Due to this collision, the sedimentary rocks which were accumulated in the geosyncline known as Tethys, were folded to form the mountain system of Western Asia and Himalya.

The movement of plates result in formation of stresses both in the rocks and within the plates like folding, faulting and volcanic activity. Hence, there is rock displacement in the surface of earths crust due to movement of tectonic plates. The two main causes of rock displacement are wheathering and erosion.
