Davis arrives – his

team of two – Jerry
Shepard and Davis

team of eight skilled sled dogs narrowly escape a merciless Antarctic tempest. It forces them to
evacuate by helicopter. Since the helicopter could not carry a load beyond that of the men, Jerry
was forced to leave his beloved dogs behind in the frozen land with a promise to return. But
when the strom approaches all means of transport are cut off, leaving the dogs stranded. The
film unfolds to show how the intelligent and courageous dogs survive the frozen wilds, Jerry's
desperate attempts to rescue his dogs. Held together by unwavering bonds of friendship and
loyalty, the humans and dogs alike undergo a remarkable journey of perseverance, commitment
and endurance to find each other again in the beautiful but fatal land of Antarctia.
