Answer:

Here the two triangles are Congruent by AAS rule.

then by CPCT,

then X° = 50°

and the sides CD = AB

then, x+10 = y+20.

=> if both x has to be taken same then you can solve from here.. taking x as 50.

then y = 40.

Answer:

In triangle ABC and triangle ADC,

AC = AC ( common)

AD = BC (given)

angle ADC = angle ABC = 90⁰

Therefore , triangle ABC is congruent to triangle CDA( by RHS)

x = 50⁰

DC = 50 + 10 = 60⁰

60⁰ = y + 20

y = 40⁰
