Use distance formula to show that the points A(-2,3) ,B(1,2) and C(7,0) are collinear​

Answer:

It is not collinear .

AB = √(1+2)^2 + (2-3)^2

= √9 + 1

= √10

BC = √(7-1)^2 + (0-2)^2

= √36 + 4

= √40

AC = √(7+2)^2 + (0-3)^2

= √81 + 9

= √90

AB + AC = √10 + √90

AB + AC is not equal to BC

So it is not collinear.
