 \underline {\blue { Distributive \: property }}

 \pink { A\times B + A \times C = A(B+C) }

 Here , A = \frac{-1}{6} , B = \frac{4}{7} \:and \\C= \frac{3}{7}

 =  \frac{-1}{6} \times  \frac{4}{7} + \frac{3}{7}\times \frac{-1}{6} + \frac{1}{2}

 = \frac{-1}{6} \big( \frac{4}{7} + \frac{3}{7} \big) + \frac{1}{2} \\= \frac{-1}{6} \big( \frac{4+3}{7}\big) + \frac{1}{2} \\= \frac{-1}{6} \big( \frac{7}{7}\big) + \frac{1}{2} \\= \frac{-1}{6}+ \frac{1}{2} \\= \frac{-1+3}{6} \\= \frac{2}{6} \\= \frac{1}{3}

Therefore.,

\left( \frac{-1}{6} \right) \times \big ( \frac{4}{7} + \frac{3}{7}\times \frac{-1}{6} \big)+ \frac{1}{2}

 \green { = \frac{1}{3}}
