Answer:

Two numbers or integers are co-prime if their common factor is only 1. There should be a minimum of two numbers to form a set of coprime numbers. Such numbers have only 1 as their highest common factor, for example, {4 and 7}, {5, 7, 9} are coprime numbers. Co-prime numbers need not be prime numbers always. Two composite numbers like 4 and 9 also form a pair of co-primes.

Answer:

By using Euclid's Division Algorithm,

1314 = 306 × 4 + 90

306 = 90 × 3 +36

90 = 36 × 2 + 18

36 = 18 × 2 + 0

We obtain HCF(1314,306) = 18

Since, HCF is not equal to 1.

Thus, 1314 and 306 are not co prime numbers.
