Larger atoms = more reactive. As you go down Group 1 the atoms become larger and the outer electron is further from the nucleus. ... So potassium is more reactive than lithium because the outer electron of a potassiumatom is further from its nucleus thanthe outer electron of a lithium atom

because as we go down the group the atomic size increases and potassium behave as more metallic character so the potassium is more reactive then lithium.
