If two numbers are co primes then there will be only one common factor i.e 1
So they will be having 1 as their hcf
396=231×1+165
231=165×1+66
165=66×2+33
66=33×2+0
Since their hcf is 33, they are not co primes

we have to find out there HCF
231=3x7x11
396=2x2x3x3x11
HCF = 3x11
= 33
if 231and 396 are co-prime number there should be only one factor i.e. 1.
so, it is not an Co prime no.
