Hi ,

Write the given numbers into

product of prime numbers

420 = 2 × 2 × 3 × 5 × 7

= 2² × 3 × 5 × 7

130 = 2 × 5 × 13

***************************************†*

HCF of the numbers = product of the

smallest

power of each common prime

factors of the numbers .

******************************************

HCF ( 420 , 130 ) = 2 × 5

HCF = 10

I hope this helps you.......
