using a=bq+r

⇒1625=357×4+197

⇒357=197×1+160

⇒197=160×1+37

⇒160=37×4+12

⇒37=12×3+1

⇒12=1×12+0

So, here as the HCF is 1. So, as one is the only common factor of 357 and 1625. The two numbers are co-prime.
