Proof of Snell's law of refraction by Huygen's wave theory: Let speed of light in rarer medium be $$v_1$$ $$m/s$$ and in denser medium, be $$v_2$$ $$m/s$$. This is called Snell law of refraction. Hence, Snell's law is verified.

SNELL'S LAW :-

The ratio of sine of angle of incidence to the sine of angle of refraction for Light of given colour is constant for a given pair of media. This is called SNELL'S Law .

 \frac{sin \: i}{sin \: r} = \: n \: = \: constant
