Question :- Use inductive reasoning to determine the next two terms in the sequence: A , 6 , D , 16 , H , 46 , M , 136 , ? , ? .

Solution :-

Logic of digits :- Multiply by 3 and subtract 2.

Check :-

6 * 3 - 2 = 18 - 2 = 16 .

16 * 3 - 2 = 48 - 2 = 46 .

→ 46 * 3 - 2 = 138 - 2 = 136 .

Therefore, Next digit will be ,

→ 136 * 3 - 2 = 408 - 2 = 406 .

Logic of Alphabets :- Add, 3 , 4, 5 , 6 , ______

Check :-

A = 1 => 1 + 3 = 4 = D .

D = 4 => 4 + 4 = 8 = H .

→ H = 8 => 8 + 5 = 13 = M .

Therefore, in Next we will add 6,

→ M = 13 => 13 + 6 = 19 = S .

Hence, Next two terms in the sequence will be S and 406 .
