configuration:

sigma 1s2 sigma* 1s2 sigma 2s2 sigma* 2s2

no. of electrons in BMO=4

No. of electrons in ABMO=4

Bond order = (4 - 4)/2

= 0

Hence Be2 molecule doesn't exist
