The use of CFC free refrigerator:

The CFC is also called chlorofluorocarbons are the compounds of carbon, chlorine, and fluorine. These compounds are used in the fridge as refrigerating fluids. These fluids tend to pull out heat from the refrigerator and push them outside the refrigerator.

But, when they are destroyed, they get free and rise in the air up to the ozonosphere of the earth. This combines with the ozone and thereby reduces the ozone concentration, and produces fluorine radicals which in turn reduces more ozone. So, not using CFC are more eco-friendly.
