the excessive use of fertilizer detrimental for the environment because when rain fall in the ground were fertilizer is used rain Carry's the fertilizer to near by sea or river then the water becomes contaminated and the living organization cannot survive due to it pollution is also caused as we'll as the conditions of the living organization depleted.

excess use of fertilizers affects the land, especially soil as soil loses its nutritive value.
thus plants dependent on soil for nitrogen and other nutrients absorb less nutrients one soil.
fertilizers these days contain all sorts of chemicals which boost healthy and fast growth of plants and also promote growth of high quality flowers and fruits but further to this, these fertilizers are not really environment friendly. If excess of chemical fertilizers are used it makes soil saline. organic fertilizers aren't harmful they're environment friendly.
