"have" is used with the pronouns I/ you/ we/ they

for eg: I have done my work.

we have done our work.

"has" is used with the pronouns he/ she/ it

for eg: He has done his work.

she has done her work.

it has done its work.

when we talk about past of any subject we use"had been". for eg: they had been living in Boston until they moved out in 1984
