Microorganism especially the fungi, and other saprophyte helps in recyling of the nutrient in the ecosystem. At first it degrades the organic matter of plant and animals, which are dead and decaying and transfer the nutrient to the soil which is in series are consumed by plant to the animals. Some bacteria and most fungi do this.
