pH is is important for the balance of our digestion. if pH in our stomach increases then we start suffering from acidity and then we need base like milk of magnesia.

pH is important for the balance of chemicals in rain. if pH in rain decreases from 5.5 then the rain is called acid rain.

pH is important for controlling acids secreted by bacteria in our mouth, if the pH level decreases then we can suffer from tooth ache and cavities. We can maintain pH level by properly using toothpaste which is basic in nature.

pH is important for the correct and healthy growth of plants in our yard. if their pH is more then the plants can get damaged. you can check pH by dissolving soil of the desired place in water and then checking it by pH paper.
