Use of public transport is a better way of avoiding pollution. Public transport has the capacity to take a large number people from one place to another whereas things aren’t the same in case of private cars and mediums of transportation. If maximum number of people avail public transport then there would be a huge reduction in air pollution and wastage of energy and resources.

Too many modes of transportation means too much of carbon monoxide emission. What is needed is a healthy strategy which lets one use one’s car and also saves the environment. For example, in countries like China people use cycles to commute and cars and busses for long distance travelling.
