Given :

\diamond Lateral Surface Area = 94.2 cm^2

\diamond Height = 5 cm

To Find :

i) Radius of the base

ii) Volume of cylinder

Solution :

\textbf{\underline{\underline{Radius\:of\:base :}}}

 \star \sf \: Lateral \: Surface \:  Area  \: of \:  Cylinder  = 2\pi \: rh

 \hookrightarrow \sf \: LSA = 94.2 {cm}^{2}

 \hookrightarrow \sf \: 2\pi \: rh  = 94.2 {cm}^{2}

 \hookrightarrow \sf \: 2  \times 3.14 \times r \times 5 = 94.2 {cm}^{2}

 \hookrightarrow \sf \: 31.4r = 94.2 {cm}^{2}

  \hookrightarrow \: \sf \: r =  \cancel \dfrac{94.2}{31.4}

 \large \boxed{ \sf \: Radius = 3 \: cm}

\textbf{\underline{\underline{Volume\:of\:Cylinder :}}}

 \star \sf \: Volume = \pi {r}^{2} h

 \hookrightarrow \sf \: 3.14 \times 3 \times 3 \times 5

 \large \boxed{ \sf \: Volume = 141.3 {cm}^{3}}
