let the two number be 4x and 5x .
let the two number be 4x and 5x . 4x +5x =45...9x=45...x=45/9 ..x= 5..therefore the two numbers are 4x= 4*5 =20 and 5x= 5*5 =25

let the no are x and y so according to question 4/5=x/y so 4y=5x. another equation is x +y=45
so 5x +5/4x =45
x=5 and y=5 put values that is 5x =4y u can get
so after solving these u get answer 20 and 25
