Using remainder theorem :

r(x) = p(root of q(x))

so, remainder is (3)³+(3)²−17(2)+15 = 27+9−34+15

= 17

Answer:

g(x)=x-3

x-3=0

x=3

p(x)=x³+x²-17x+15

p(3)=3³+3²-17×3+15

0=27+9-51+15

0=51-51

0=0
