Given:-

  • (3x+4) (3x-5)

To find:-

  • Product using suitable identity

Solution:-

(a + b)(a - c)  \\  = ( {a}^{2} ) + (b - c)(a) - (b)(c) \\  \\  \\ (3x + 4)(3x - 5) \\  = 3 {x}^{2}  + (4 - 5)(3x) - (4)(5) \\  \\  \\   \green{=  {9x}^{2}  - 3x - 20}

Given :- Use stable identities to find the following products: (3x+4) (3x-5) ?

Solution :-

we know that,

  • (x + a)(x + b) = x² + (a + b)x + ab

given that,

  • a = 4
  • b = (-5)

so,

→ (3x + 4) * (3x - 5)

→ (3x)² + (4 - 5)3x + 4 * (-5)

9x² - 3x - 20 (Ans.)
