Solution

Given:-

  • s - t = 3_______(1)
  • s/3 + t/2 = 6_____(2)

Find :-

  • Value of s & t by Substitution method,

Explanation

Substitution Method

By, Equ (1)

==> s = t + 3_________(3)

By, Equ (2)

==> 2s + 3t = 36_______(4)

Keep Value by equ(3) in equ(4)

==> 2(t + 3) + 3t = 36

==> 2t + 3t + 6 = 36

==> 5t = 36 - 6

==> 5t = 30

==> t = 30/5

==> t = 6

keep Value of t in equ(3)

==> s = 6 + 3

==. s = 9

Hence

  • Value of s = 9
  • Value of t = 6
