Given-

(x + 4)(x + 10)

(x + 8)(x - 10)

To find-

Their products.

Solution-

(x + 4)(x + 10)

➩ By using identity IV-

(x + a)(x + b) =  {x}^{2} + (a + b)x + (a \times b)

 {x}^{2} + (4 + 10)x + (4 \times 10)

 {x}^{2} + 14x + 40

Second one-

By using the same identity we will solve it-

(x + 8)(x - 10)

 {x}^{2} + (8 + ( - 10))x + (8 \times -10)

 {x}^{2} -2x - 80

Some more identities-

 {(x + y)}^{2} =  {x}^{2} + 2xy +  {y}^{2}

 {(x - y)}^{2} =  {x}^{2} - 2xy +  {y}^{2}

(x + y)(x - y) =  {x}^{2} +  {y}^{2}

 {(x + y + z)}^{2} =  {x}^{2} +  {y}^{2} +  {z}^{2} + 2xy + 2yz + 2zx
