identity-(x+a)(x+b)=x^2+(a+b)x+ab
1)(x+4) (x+10)
using identity
x^2+(4+10)x+4×10
x^2+14x+40

(x+4)(x+10)= x square + (a+b)x + ab

So therefore, (x) square + (4+10)x + (4)(10)

= x square + 14x + 40.....

The same applies here...

(x) square + (8-10)x + (8)(-10)

= x square + (-2x) + (-80)..
