(x+a)(x+b) = x²+(a+b)x+ab

we have,

(x+5)(x+2) = x²+(5+2)x+5×2

= x²+7x+10

We know that (x+a)(x+b)
= x^2 + (a+b)x + a*b.
Using this identity, we get

(x+5)(x+2) = x^2 + (5+2)x + 5*2
= x^2 + 7x + 10
