Given:

The basic mathematical operators(brackets, addition, substraction and division)

To find:

Use the digit 4 four times and apply the basic mathematical operators(brackets, addition, substraction and division) to get 7 as your answer.

Solution:

From given, we have,

The basic mathematical operators(brackets, addition, subtraction and division)

Here we use the trial and error method to find the digit.

Consider the number 4.

4 + 4 - (4 ÷ 4)

we use the BODMAS rule to solve this problem.

(B - brackets , O - off , D - division , M - multiplication , A - addition, S - subtraction )

= 4 + 4 - 1

= 7

Thus, 4 is the required digit
