use the factor theorem to factorise x3+x2-4x-4

first of all find zero of polynomial which is 2, hence (x-2) is a factor of polynomial
divide polynomial by this ( x-2) you get ( x^2+3x+2)
then by splitting up the middle term you get final answer as
( x+2)( x+1)( x-2)
