Solution

  • Adjacent angle- angles that share a common ray/line/line segment are called adjacent angles. For eg-, ∠FGH AND ∠FGE in the figure share a common ray FG
  • Complementary angles- Anges that sum up to form a right angle i.e 90° are called complementary angles.

In the given figure, if we observe closely there is only one pair of adjacent complementary angles. That is ∠LJM and ∠MJN

∠LJM = 56°

∠MJN = 34°

56° + 34° = 90°

Hence, ∠LJM and ∠MJN are a pair of adjacent complementary angles.
