"While" I was out, I realized that I couldn't remember whether I had switched the iron "or" left it on. "If" I left it on, the house might be on fire! I was really worried "so" I ran home at once. "However " I needen 't have worried "although", I had left the iron on, everything was all right. It was a good thing I got in time, "otherwise" things would have turned out very differently.
