Use the formula v²= u² + 2as, If v=0, u= 11.5 and acceleration = 11.5/5 I want you guys to try it out.

Tomboyish44: A = - 11.5 / 5
Tomboyish44: I forgot to type in Negative, sorry

Given,

v = 0

u = 11.5 = 115/10 = 23/2 m/sec

a = 11.5/5 = 115/50 = 23/10 m\sec

Using  formula,

 v^{2}=u^{2}+2as\\\;\\0=(\frac{23}{2})^{2}+2*\frac{23}{10}s\\\;\\2*\frac{23}{10}s=-\frac{23\times23}{4\times4}\\\;\\s=-\frac{23*5}{16}\\\;\\s=-7.1875\;m\\\;\\|s|=7.1875\;m.
