x=2

f(2) =3(2)^5-(2)^4+2(2)^3-5(2)^2-4

f(2) =(3×32)-16+16-20-4

f(2) =96-24

f(2) =72

As f(2)=72 which is not equal to 0,

x=2 is not a zero of f(x) =3x^5-x^4+2x^3-5x^2-4
