Answer

Y increase from minus -5 to -5/2

Solution

Given

X = 2y/5 +3

Since

1 < X <

so

1 < 2y/5+ 3 < 2

(1 - 3)< 2y/5 < (2 - 3)

5(1 -3 )/2 < y < 5(2 - 3)/2

there for

-5 < y < -5/2

Hence

Y increases from -5 to -5/2
