When you educate a boy, you educate one person; but when you educate a girl, you educate a whole family. A girl, in turn, teaches her children. A girl is as much a citizen of our country as a boy. We can't expect a country to develop when half of its citizens are illiterate. When a person, whether boy or girl, becomes a resource when he/she is properly educated.
