Neutralising hydrochloric acid produces chloride salts.

Hydrochloric acid + sodium hydroxide → sodium chloride + water

Neutralising nitric acids produces nitrate salts.

Neutralising sulphuric acid produces sulphate salts.

Sulphuric acid + sodium hydroxide → sodium sulphate + water.
