Thermosetting plastics can only be heated and shaped once. If re-heated they cannot soften aspolymer chains are interlinked. Separate polymersare joined in order to form a huge polymer. The mainthermosetting plastics are epoxy resin, melamine formaldehyde, polyester resin and urea formaldehyde.

thermosetting, plastics are synthetic materials that becomes strong during being heated, but cannot be again remolded or reheated after their initial heat-forming. This is in contrast to thermoplastics, which soften when heated and harden and strengthen after cooling.
