Total distance covered by Usha is 1 min is 180m

Displacement of ushain 1 min = 0m

Average speed=total distance covered /total time taken

=180m/1 min

=180m/1min ×1min/60second

=180/60

=3m/s

Average velocity =Displacement/total time taken

=0m/60second

=0m/second

The average speed of Usha is 3m/s and her average velocity is 0m/s

distance of pool=90m

180m in 1min.

90m+90m=180m[90m towards the pool and 90m back to the point.]

so, displacement is zero.

avg speed =total distance÷total time taken.

90+90÷60=3m/s.

avg velocity=v+u÷2

90+-(90)÷2=0m/s.

avg speed =3m/s,avg velocity=0.

I Hope This helps you.
