➡ Distributive property of multiplication over addition:

↪We know that

↪a×(b+c)=a×b+a×c

Now,

Consider that a=12, b= -4 and c=6

↪12×(-4+6)=12×(-4)+12×(6)

↪12×2= -48+72

↪24=24

RHS=LHS

➡Distributive property of multiplication over subtraction:

↪a×(b-c)=a×b-a×c

↪ Here, a=12, b= -4, c=6

➡12×(-4-6)=12×(-4)-12×(6)

➡12×(-10)= -48-72

➡ -120= -120

RHS=LHS

Hence verified.
