Answer:

0.006241=6241/1000000(when we remove the decimal)

so its square root will be

√6241/1000000=79/1000=0.079

similarly

√62.41=√6241/100=79/10=7.9

Hope it helps you......

Answer:

a)(0.006241)^(1/2)=0.079

b)(62.41)^(1/2)=7.9

Step-by-step explanation:

 \sqrt{6241}  = 79 \\ a) \:  \sqrt{0.006241}  =  \sqrt{6241 \times  {10}^{ - 6} } \\  \:  \:  \:  = 79 \times  {10}^{ - 3}  = 0.079 \\  \\ b) \:  \sqrt{62.41}  =  \sqrt{6241 \times  {10}^{ - 2} }  \\  \:  \:  \:  = 79 \times  {10}^{ - 1}  = 7.9
