➠ Step 1 : Draw a line segment AB = 7 cm.

➠ Step 2 : Draw Right angle at B and draw a ray.

➠ step 3 : Using compass with = 8 cm and taking A as centre draw an arc such that it intersect right angle drawn in step 2 at C.
