 \huge \bold \color{green}{ \underline{ \underline \red{required \: answer : }}}

we have to find value of (1.02)²-(0.98)²

 \bold{by \: using \:  {a}^{2}  - {b}^{2} = (a + b)(a - b) }

so..

  \bold{{(1.02)}^{2}-{(0.98)}^{2} = (1.02 + 0.98)(1.02 - 0.98) }

 \implies2  \times 0.04 \\  \implies0.08

so (1.02)²-(0.98)² = 0.08
