Equator is an imaginary line that passes directly around the centre of the earth from East to West. Equator is the important imaginary latitude that divides the earth into two perfect half.  The two half of the earth is the Northern Hemisphere and the Southern Hemisphere.

The imaginary line directly passes through nearly thirteen countries around the world.

They are Equador, Colombia, SaoTome and Principe, Gabon, Republic of the Congo, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Kenya, Uganda, Somalia, Maldives, Indonesia and Kiribati.
