Step 1 : Draw a  Ray PR

Step  2 : Using compass width = 6.8 cm using ruler  taking P as center cut ray PR at Q

Step 3: Reducing Compass width slightly taking P as center Draw an arc on both sides of PQ

Step 4 : Keeping compass width same taking Q as center draw another arc intersecting arc drawn in previous steps on A and B

Step 5 :  Join A & B intersecting PQ at M

M is mid point of PQ
